Facebook is doubtlessly a tremendous social network which has been able to surpass every other online network. It enables its users to keep in contact with friends, send messages, and update their personal profiles to notify friends about themselves. Moreover, users can join networks organized by workplace, school, or college. As far as Facebook´s advantages go, it's growth as an Internet social networking site has also met criticism on a range of issues, especially the privacy of their users, child safety, the use of advertising scripts, data mining, and the inability to terminate accounts without first manually deleting all the content. There have been several issues with censorship, and the changes made by Facebook have been criticised, in particular the new format launched in 2008 and the changes in Facebook's Terms of Use which removed the clause detailing automatic expiry of deleted content.
